Internship and Fellowship in Bioenergy Webinar Recording

Watch the BETO Webinar on Internship and Fellowship Opportunities!

The recording of the recent Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) webinar, "STEMtember: Ready, Set, Join the BETO Webinar on Internship and Fellowship Opportunities," is now available!

Imagine being on the forefront of developing sustainable aviation or maritime fuel or partnering with municipalities to improve waste-to-energy processes. The bioenergy field does all of that—plus more—and it’s growing rapidly. And to top it off, this exciting opportunity isn’t limited to just scientists, engineers, or people with STEM degrees. There are many opportunities for students and recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in this exciting and growing field, from communications, education, and outreach to engineering, business, operations, and management.

Each year, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Bioenergy Technologies Office supports internships and fellowships that provide hands-on experience in the bioenergy field. These programs are an excellent way to gain the skills and knowledge needed to jumpstart your career.
On September 29, 2022, from 3–4 p.m. ET, DOE, EERE, BETO, and national lab staff held a STEMtember webinar to discuss the different types of internships and fellowships offered, as well as eligibility requirements and application process.

👉Watch the webinar recording now to learn how BETO can help you start a career in the bioenergy industry!
