Verus Research is searching for an Electrical Engineering Intern to assist with the experimental development of high-power microwave applications, including pulsed power hardware and systems. The Electrical Engineering Intern may perform a number of duties, including assisting engineering staff with assembly, testing, and design modification of high-power circuits and radiofrequency sources. The intern may also apply similar tools and techniques to other research projects. This posting is for a summer internship in Albuquerque, NM.

- U.S. citizenship
- Completion of at least three years of study in a university electrical engineering program or relevant engineering discipline
- Familiarity with electrical circuits and pulsed power design and operation
- Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and presentation
- Experience with electrical or mechanical fabrication techniques, breadboard prototyping, diagnostic testing, and basic machining desired
